About Us:

We are a progressive, holistic dental practice located in Encinitas, California. We believe in spending time and resources on proper diagnosis and treating the root cause of a patient's problems with the least invasive, most biocompatible, and most technologically progressive treatments available. We are a small, busy practice that is growing rapidly and is looking for the right person to take over as a FULL-TIME (more than 32 hours) RDA and lead chairside assistant to the dentists (2).  Although we are small, there is room for growth on both the administrative and clinical sides of the practice for the right candidates, and we would prefer to find someone who is looking for a career in a field that can make a difference in the lives of others.

About You:

We are looking for a person who believes in alternative treatments and who believes that through proper education, patients are better able to make informed decisions on their health.

Dental experience is ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED. Because we are a small dental practice that only sees one patient at a time, it is critical for you to have superior dental assisting skills.  At least 4 years of recent dental experience as a chairside RDA required.  Applicants without this requirement will not be considered. 

You must be organized and be a quick learner.

• Lab work

• Infection Control/Sterilization
• Inventory management
• Supply ordering

Requirements:

• Current RDA license required.
• You must have an open mind and an eagerness to learn.
• EXTREME attention to details required.
• Common sense is mandatory.
• High level of comfort with a computers in required. We are a paperless office and use a variety of technologies within our practice that you will have to learn quickly.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working in alternative medicine/dental practices a plus.

Education:

• High School Diploma

Pay:  $18/ hour min depending on experience
